Brainfuse Logo

The Prince George's County Memorial Library System is the first library on the East Coast to offer an innovative new service to our veterans, from our partners at Brainfuse. With our community of veterans and their families, with Joint Base Andrews and Fort Meade, there are few other places where there is such a high concentration of veterans. One problem we have heard from these customers is the complexity of navigating the VA benefits program. With that in mind, Brainfuse has designed a program where navigators will be assigned to help veterans discover the benefits they are eligible for and have earned. Look for this new product after trials in August 2017.

New Carrollton Branch Update

New Carrollton Branch rendering

Progress is coming along at the New Carrollton Branch Library which is expected to reopen next summer. Architects have reconfigured the layout with all services on one level. The  enlarged entrance has a curtain wall and glass walls for more natural light. Enhanced accommodations include: a vending café, two meeting rooms, a conference room, a computer lab and seven study rooms. A palette of oranges and blues will warm the interior and highlight Discovery Reef, the new children's destination. Visit our website or engage us on social media for the latest updates.

Accommodations for individuals with disabilities are available upon request. Please contact the branch at least two weeks in advance.
