The PGCMLS app, available for iOS in the Apple App store and for Android in the Google Play Store, provides easy access to library resources and services. With it you can:

  • Search the library's catalog
  • Manage your library account
  • Download ebooks, audio books, music and magazines
  • Research a broad variety of topics
  • Access online resources

Mobile Apps for Downloading, Streaming & Viewing

The following mobile apps provide access to some of the resources to which PGCMLS subscribes. To configure the apps, you will need your library card number and possibly your PIN (your default PIN is the last 4 digits of the phone number the Library has on file for you). A few apps may require the creation of a login account with username and password.

OverDrive Media Console

Download eBooks and audiobooks from Overdrive directly to your mobile device! During initial setup, you will create an Overdrive account separate from your library account.

Freading

Freading logo

Read ePub and PDF formatted eBooks. During the initial setup, you may need to enter an Adobe ID. If you do not have an Adobe ID, you can register for one at Adobe.com.

Zinio for Libraries

Zinio logo

Page through popular magazines on your computer or mobile device. There is no time limit; once you check out a magazine, it will remain in your account until you delete it.

OneClickDigital

OneClickDigital logo

Access thousands of audiobooks published by Recorded Books. Create a free personal account, download the app, and begin listening to audio books on your Apple or Android device.

Freegal Music

Freegal Music logo

Download and listen to songs from Freegal Music, which contains millions of songs to choose from. With your PGCMLS card download up to 5 songs a week and stream up to 3 hours of music a day. In the iOS version, songs are saved in the Freegal app.

Transparent Language

Learn over 30 languages using this mobile app. To use the Transparent Language app, you will need an authorization key. Access the Transparent Language research database via the library's website. Create a user id, if you do not already have one. Click on "Go Mobile" at the top of the page. Click on "Get mobile User Name" and enter your unique mobile username and password.

EBSCOhost

EBSCOhost logo

Retrieve articles from magazines, reference books, and scholarly journals in EBSCO research databases. To use the EBSCOhost app, you will need an authorization key. Access an EBSCOhost research database via the library's website. At the bottom of the page, click on "EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Applications." Enter your email and the key to the app will be emailed to you.
