About the Artist
Mylar "Nick" Liggins is a Maryland-based freelance artist and musician dedicated to sharing his creative passions with the Prince George’s County community. His artistic journey began early, evolving from childhood sketches to formal studies at Prince George’s Community College, the University of Maryland, and the Corcoran Institute.
Nick’s diverse background includes service in the U.S. Army and experience as an armed security contractor. Beyond his security career, he is an active musician—fronting the band "Nick of Time"—and a multi-disciplinary visual artist whose landscape paintings and metal and wood sculptures showcase his commitment to beauty in his community. Previously displaying his work at the Oxon Hill Library, Nick is proud to serve and create within Prince George’s County.
