MeMe Speaks was born and raised in the DMV. Due to the loss of her mother, she became independent at the early age of seventeen. She has overcome several life obstacles that led her to become the phenomenal woman she is today. She has over 20+ years of helping others and is very enthusiastic about working with the youth and assisting them to become the best they can be. She has a strong ability to see in others what they have yet to see in themselves. Her motto is “You’ve got this, we’ve got this.” In 2020 she survived a stroke with a 2% survival rate. Most people who survived are severely disabled & incapacitated, but she beat the odds; some consider her a walking miracle. Her trials and tribulations have taught others how to overcome any obstacle that may come their way; she is a prime example of what does not kill you makes you stronger.
