Although our nation has been built by immigrants, the issue has often been associated with negative consequences and used as a lightning rod to mobilize voters. Join Bear Afkhami and library staff for a brief history of immigration in the U.S. and a discussion about the economic benefits of more open immigration policies.
About Bear Afkhami:
Afkhami has twelve years of experience in the homeland security field, a BA in Intelligence and an MS in Analytics. He writes and lectures on the impact of foreign policy.
